What I've Done 是一种反思者的角度来看待过去的。其中的“I”并不是作者，而是人类自己。林肯公园，主要代表了现阶段年轻人（尤其是American）的一种精神状态。美国20年内的战争不断，虽然是打别人，但对现在的年轻一代，已经留下了不能抹去的影响。与之不谋而合的是，这种意境用到变形金刚身上非常合适。他们一定意义上只是人类的一个影子，或许就是以后的人类。What I've Done 在**里，一是指机器人对自己的星球所做的一切，二是指他们对地球所做的。歌曲的内容与**的主题非常的贴近。

LP那首《WHAT I VE DONE》的MV拍的是反战主题的，可能就是这个原因再加上同属华纳旗下，所以就被收录了。但是那首歌的MV中为什么出现了、切·格瓦拉、甘地等等伟人我就搞不懂了，“反战”应该只有东条英机、、莫索里尼才对，不知道美国人在玩什么花样？！
